Before you sign-up with an SEO company there are several questions you might need to consider to avoid becoming one of the many businesses who have been ‘burnt’ by ‘low end’ SEO companies that simply do not deliver results.

Ask for references / invitations

This is obvious if an SEO firm that has some history with its clients should be able to show some evidence that its work has resulted in higher search engine ranking for its clients.
Have they analyzed your website?
An experienced SEO consultant will need to analyse your website and determine the onsite work needed to ensure all pages can be indexed and highly ranked by the search engines. They should provide exact details on the onsite work that they will be carrying out. DO NOT PAY FOR THIS! It is essential work they must undertake to provide an accurate quote.
Ask for Examples and Case Studies 
Any service provider of SEO to be able to point in qualifying to work. SEO service provider must be able to show you sample optimize websites…. It can even be the person website of the consultant and should be able to refer to the ranking in search engines, as well as some of the results-driven SEO work on site or on the Internet.
